Q. Ok my computer has so many virues and programs are getting deleted constantly because my curious nephew had to come and look at porn on my computer. Now when i turn it one it takes like 5 min and i have to restart it then put chooose last good configuration. So my only hope now i geek squad. i heard the fix all types of computer problems so i was wondering were can i find one of there store (i live in nyc) and if they will fix my computer how much will it cost
A. you should be able to find one in the phone book in nyc. but if you have a recovery disk you could try that and save yourself some money. depending on what make 'puter you have put the disk in and when it comes up to the screen that asks what you want to do tell it to do a full reinstall NOT a short one. you will lose anything you have in it but it sounds like most of your data has been corrupted anyway. Good Luck & BTW set up a password so nephew can't get on the internet anymore
