Q. i have windows 98 and i want to upgrade to windows 2000 for free. is their something i can download to do that? and is it easy?
A. Today, Microsoft will not allow you to install an operating system without it being registered!
Too, why would you want WIN2000, Microsoft support for that OS is dying?
Here are major issues that you should consider doing any thing to your present computer!
DO not take out WIN 98! Your system is running, do not change that!
To change you MUST have 1GB of RAM!
READ your MOTHERBOARD USERS GUIDE!
RAM is cheap, Make sure you have 1GB of RAM and buy a second hard drive for any NEW Operating System that you want to install.

My computer keep telling me that I have viruses and spyware?
Q. I just put my new computer online and downloaded avg syware and antivirus, I also have ada-ware and spy-bot insalled but I keep getting notices that my computer is infected eventhough I have used all programs and scanned repeatedly. Is there anything else I can do. Also with every warning the same anti virus or spyware programs keep coming up and I am wondering if those sofhtware manufacurers have the virus in there to get you to buy the program.

Is there any way to recover information from a broken usb driver?
Q. I had a Crucial USB memory and the part that goes into the computer broke and i really need to recover the information that i had in it. The brain thing inside is still in good shape and i guess it is where everything is stored. Thanks
A. Just plug it into another computer you should have no problem in case what you mean is the files are deleted or it broke
