Q. I made a backup copy of all my important files including all my pictures (wedding and honeymoon) and now I am not able to open them. Some of the word/excel files open however the jpg files do not open. I am able to see the icons and the pics still have the file names. However when I click on the icons to open the pics, I get an error message saying it may be corrupt or data is missing.
My husband tried to run some data recovery programs on it but it did not work. The pictures are priceless and I am willing to pay someone to get my honeymoon pics back.
I fear that the pics may have been infected with a virus before I made the backup copy.
If someone can please help I would be very thankful.

Is it OK to delete the Windows Vista Recovery?
Q. When is installed Vista it asked me to create recovery DVD's... but it also created a recovery drive on the PC.
I was wondering if it is alright to delete the data in that drive? Will it be possible to recover Vista using only the recovery disks?

A. You need to make sure you create and have everything you need to restore/recover the OS. IF you are sure you have everything you need then it is ok to delete. I do not recommend you delete it unless you absolutely need the space. Hard drives are so cheap you can just buy an external drive for storage space.
