Q. I mistakenly formatted my hard disk but when it was 0% I quickly stopped the progress and when I reboot, it says this drive must be formatted. any clues how I can recover my files before I format it?
A. Your best bet is to get a new hard drive and install your os on that. Then install your current hard drive as a slave. Using a file recovery program something like this http://www.recoverdeletedfilestool.com/ or any other one you like, you should be able to recover your files.
When it started to reformat the drive it deleted the fat table(pointers to your data), but your data should still be on the disk.

How do you completely format a hard disk?
Q. I'm trying to discard my old hard disk bgut the problem is that after formatting it someone told me that the data can still be traced. this is done by using the unformat feature. is it true?
A. Data from your disk if there is no physical dammage ,can be read some 11 last formats ago. So to not be able to read anything from it , you should have to overwrite disk with random data 12 t o13 times to be sure that no one will read anything, or to anihilate the disk, since even hard disk that were under some heat , like home fire , had left some data for recovery.
How to recovery the data from corrupted hard disk?
Q. Hai friends? i dont know what happened to my hard disk! it was not booting up! when i was taken that to service center! he told that hard disk is corrupted u have to buy a new hard disk! i had lot of imp data in that hard disk! how can i retrive the data from that! please give me guidence for that! thank u!
A. Well, I have a solution to your problem.
If your Hard disk is not booting in the bios, eject your hard disk, try shaking your hard disk or drop it 1 foot high from the floor,
then connect it to your computer and turn on your PC.
But if your trying to say is to rescue your data in the corrupted hard disk
I recommend you to use Getdataback for NTFS software where you can recover the accidentally deleted files on your computer.
Download this installer: http://h33t.com/torrent/0236426/runtime-â¦
This is very useful.
Just follow the steps given and just install the "Getdataback for NTFS, 32 bit" if you are running 32bit, 64bit if you're running 64bit system.
If you are done downloading, unrar it to your desktop and install.
It helps me a lot whenever I deleted/accidently formatted my Hard Drive.
Send me news if you are successfully recover it. Have a great day!
