How many DVDs should I need for windows7 backup?

Q. I have a Desktop with win7 OS.I want a permanent backup of my system on DVDs.How many DVDs should I need for windows7 backup?Plz answer! Is it possible to have backup on double layer DVDs?

A. using dvds or external hdd is not the best way because a sudden crash may lead losing all your vital data and system windows files. DVDs are the worst case scenario for doing backups.

I recently join www.backup-easy that is powered by the number one backup software asigra and i backup online all my vital data. yo ucan restore in any location you want if you experience a pc crash.

Backup easy is an easy backup software and is offering really affordable prices and it stores in servers in canada in two locations your data...No chance to lose your data!!

i pay 4 euro per month for a 25 GB storage and offer me a brilliant disaster recovery solution.

they also have an instant calculator to calculate your backup data and decide which package it suits for you, so with the price of 0.13 cents per day i dont have to worry anymore :)

How much does a PC-3000 system (used for data recovery) from DeepSpar.com cost?
Q. It's not listed on their website. I've only read that "it's expensive".

I'm interested in starting a small data recovery service and apparently the Deepspar PC-3000 system really makes the impossible possible.

Just looking for price info. Thanks!
*** Update ***
I found out from DeepSpar that the device costs $10,000 USD. That's what "it's expensive" means, apparently.

A. If you were still interested regardless of the price tag, the following information is how you go about making a purchase.

Are there polar bear statistics on how their population is effected by global warming?
Q. In a form of a graph or chart showing that the polar bear population is decreasing due to the theory of global warming.

A. Here is a good interview with Dr. Nick Lunn of the Canadian Wildlife Service - one of a handful of scientists focusing their efforts, knowledge, and talent on studying the polar bear.

http://www.globalwarmingisreal.com/blog/2008/03/10/scientist-on-western-hudson-bay-polar-bear-population-i-consider-myself-a-historian/

"The population in the Western Hudson Bay region has declined 22% in 17 years, to less than 1000 bears."

"Of the thirteen populations of polar bear in the world, only two are considered as thriving, as many as five may currently be stable, and the rest are either threatened, in decline, or there is simply not enough data to make a reliable assessment."

Some people (like jmaximus) will argue that polar bear populations are increasing, but this is simply a lack of understanding.

"It isnât hard to find media reports stating that polar bear populations are at historic highs â up to 25,000 now from a low of 5,000 or so in the 50âs or 60âs. This gets a chuckle from Nick. Look in any of those reports for the source of their conjecture. The fact is nobody was even paying attention to polar bear numbers in the 50âs or 60âs, much less conducting a scientifically sound census survey. So where do they come up with those numbers? Hmm⦠Good question.

In the 50âs and 60âs polar bear were being shot, killed, hunted down wholesale. It has only been within the past couple of decades that scientists, government leaders, and wildlife managers have realized that it might be prudent to put some limits on the carnage to assess what it is we have in the way of polar bears and to begin serious, ongoing scientific study of them.

What happens when uncontrolled hunting is stopped? Gosh, it seems there may have been some recovery in polar bear populations due to the alleviated stress from hunting. (Incidentally, 500 bears are still harvested every year in Canada.)

When you hear anyone authoritatively pronouncing that polar bear numbers have recovered from 5000 to 25,000 just know that theyâre simply guessing. Right off the bat a reason to question the veracity of their argument. (And when the Wall Street journal says anything about environmental policy, assume they likely donât know a whit about what theyâre talking about.) "
