A. It depends on what phone you are talking about. If it has a sim card, I believe you can just remove that and you should be good, but as for smart phones like the iPhone, there is process on the device that you can restore to factory settings, where it wipes all the data and leaves nothing but the raw and cannot be recovered.
how can i convert my raw data file back to normal?
Q. I used Easeus Data Recovery software to recover files from a formatted external HDD. i did not overwrite any data i left the HDD as is after needing to recover it. the software created NTFS\Raw files and when i try to click on these files nothing shows up...they were renamed like this: FILE001 and my computer does recognize it as a (.avi) format. so how can i get back to viewing all my files?
A. Use another recovery software, recommended one is asoftech photo recovery which you can download trial for free from link below

A. You can NOT 'change' from RAW to NTFS w/o losing data. Your data was most probably lost when it somehow went to RAW (which is a VERY rare occurance).
Recovery software is your only hope, and it's HAS to be used before you do ANYTHING to the drive.
I wouldn't trust that drive ever again.
