How to recover iPad 2 photos after restoration and update to 6.0?

Q. Well because iTunes is g@y all my photos and data are lost after updating and restoring to 6.0! I didn't back it up nor did I do use iCloud because I used Software Update in settings... Is there anyway to recover all the lost photos?

A. Connect iPad to computer, and then open "Computer", iPad should show as a drive letter there. If not, please follow these instructions: In iTunes, right click on your iPad and select "iPad Options". Under the "iPad" tab, make a tick in "Enable Disk Use". Click OK. Unplug your iPad, then replug.

Now follow steps below
Step1: Download this photo recovery software, then install and launch it in Windows machine correctly.

Step3: Select iPad drive letter and then click "Next", you will find all your lost files in the lists.
Step4: After the automatic scanning, it's time to finish all the steps by clicking "Recover" easily to Recover your files!

Can I remove pictures from the iPad permanently?
Q. I have the iPad 3 and I know that if you delete a picture on it is gone, but there are methods to back pictures up after deleted such as software. I was wondering if there was a way to completely remove of this so that it wouldn't even show up on the software?
Thank you, much appreciated

A. yes there is,
any form of data storage (USB, MS, hard drive, and anything else) has 2 sections on it, the 1st is small, and stores the name and address (digital address) of the location of the file in the 2nd part,
when you delete a picture, it only gets wipped from the 1st section, that is when data recovery can retrieve the file which is still somewhere in the 2nd part.

the only way to get rid of it is to overwrite it with something else, so just delete something, and then do something that creates lots of space (like recording) and the bigger the size of the file, the greater the chance is that part of that file will overwrite the image (which is invisibly still there),
what I do, is I just put a massive 2gb movie on it, and then I can be sure that a small 1mb file is never to be seen again.

How do I clear the "other" category in my iPad?
Q. In iTunes, I have a 14GB iPad 2, and I looked and over 7GB was taken up by other. OVER HALF. Please someone help me how do I clear it? I've run out of space several times. I don't want to clear my iPad, because then I will lose all of my games' data.
