Q. Ok I have a 2gb sd card that was formatted using the quick format with windows. I had things are there that I can't get back such as pictures and videos of my daughter when she was younger. I have tried numerous data recovery software and none of them seem to detect anything. I need help!
A. Howdy Chris,
Yeah you are right all the recovery tools ask for the money $.
I too have gone through this kind of prob various times den i come to knw abt a application named "Advanced Disk Recovery" that helps me to recover the data deleted either intentionally or accidentally.
It recovers data very efficiently if not overwritten. u can connect ur sd card to the computer and can recover the data with the help of this tool.
Though in free version it only recovers the 5 files but atleast u can get 5 of ur important files back
I am using the paid version and it is wrkn fine 4 me
so if u wanna give it a try then u can download this from cnet

How do you recover data from an external hd drive which my OS stop detecting, the drive physically appears ok.?
Q. I guess it happened due to connecting and disconneting without safely removing the hard drive, the drive letter doesn't appear any more so i can't use software recovery tools asking for you to select the drive letter. About freezing i read it should be used only when the drive is not spinning. The hard disk is small and powered by the usb cable and is not physically damaged.
A. i assume you are using windows because of your story and i have seen this problem before the only way i have been able to solve a problem like this is plugging it into a mac which i have copy all of the files then reformat as fat32 then put the information back onto the drive and it is good as new but it doesn't work well if you dont have a mac
How can i recover deleted files on a physical drive using get data back on windows 7?
Q. I have installed Runtime Get Data Back on Windows 7 and i keep getting the error:
"You must have administrator rights in order to access physical or logical drives!"
Somebody familiar with this? I gave my account full access, i restarted RGDB, but still got the message. And i need to perform a data recovery from deleted files.
I found the answer myself:
Right- click on the programicon, and select
"Run as administrator".
It works like a charm
