A. It is probably your laptop's recovery data partition. It is commonly used by manufacturer's to restore your laptop's original settings and software when reformatting or during repair. I wouldn't worry much about it.

Some situations where we use Manchester encoding techniques?
Q. encoding techniques

A. Manchester code provides simple encoding with no long period without a level transition. This helps clock recovery.

The DC component of the encoded signal is not dependent on the data and therefore carries no information, allowing the signal to be conveyed conveniently by media (e.g. Ethernet) which usually do not convey a DC component.

A. People think that when a computer crashes won't boot up that the Hard drive is dead, so they go out and buy a new one, when the real reason is that the MBR Master Boot Record has been corrupted

Here is what you need to do. buy a USB Jump drive or have some blank CD/DVD disks so that you can copy your data to them,

Step (1)
Download this FREE Operating system and software,
Partition Magic
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=partedmagic

Step (2)
Make a bootable CD ISO boot up disk with the operating system and software

Step (3)
re install the crashed Hard drive

Step (4)
Boot the computer up with the Bootup CD Disk

Step (5)
Insert a USB Jump drive into a USB port Or Insert a blank CD/DVD in the drive

Step (6)
you will see the hard drive Click on it to log on it

Step 7
Find the folders you want to copy to the Jump drive or DC/DVD

Drag and drop the folders on to the Jump drive or DC/DVD and the will be copied to that device

then repair your hard drive using the partition editor, to delete the partition, and make a new one then format it using the FAT32 file format
