Q. [Madison, Wiscâ¦] Earlier this month, analysts were dismayed by the nationâs anemic job creation numbers. On Thursday, state officials were pleased as they released data that showed more than half of the net new jobs added in the US in June came from Wisconsin.
âWe have made difficult decisions in our state, but they are beginning to payoff,â said Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R). âThe national job figures remind us that we can not rest after one month of good news; while there will be ups and downs along the way, we must help lead the nation to recovery.â
Using seasonally adjusted data, the 12,900 private-sector jobs created in June marks the largest one-month gain in Wisconsin since September 2003. The stateâs net new job gain for June is 9,500 jobs, more than half of the nationâs net gain of 18,000 jobs for the same month.

A. Actually Walker's statement turned out to be untrue. For an explanation see the link below:

I see constant "vote Walker for jobs" signs up all over?
Q. Wait what jobs would that be?
Under Walker Wisconsin leads the Nation in job loss
I thought Walker campaigned with the promise of adding 250,000 jobs?
Fail-according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics "Wisconsin statistically had significant job losses" this is both in the private and public sector.
Wisconsin lost 24,000 jobs in a period where the rest of the Nation were ADDING JOBS.
Wisconsin HAD been on the road to recovery when Walker took office.
Under Democratic leadership Wisconsin gained 24,800 jobs in 2010.
From 1991-2010 Wisconsin's average rank in job creation was 21st.
Under Walker we rated 50th.
From 1991-2010 WI. average job growth had been 22,075
Walker cut job programs, slashed infrastructure investment, destroyed public education, he broke faith in our vocational technical training, turned his back on high tech jobs and ended decades of labor peace in WI.
Scott Walker has NEVER had a CREDIBLE JOBS PLAN, never once focused on jobs.
So why would Walker be on tv every 15 minutes stating the complete opposite?
Remember 16 felonies and going.
Pelosi, I do live in WI. and you are a fool to think that Walkers agenda will not effect you if he wins.
Conservatives in other states and the Koch's are sitting on their hands waiting to see if Walker succeeds or not and if he does they will follow through in their states with these radically policies.
Your next if he wins.
