Problems with winrar?
Q. I recently lost my iso game installer file over some splitting screw up I did with Poweriso. I managed to recover the winrar archived ISO using 0&0 recovery software. Now I'm trying to extract the ISO but I get a prompt that says I need to find this certain volume in order to continue extraction. How do I deal with this problem? If anyone can answer and fix this problem, I will give them the best answer with the highest rating. Thanks.
A. Recovered items in case of ISO archives may not b with full data. There must be some loss of data while trying to recover it. U can try to use ISO Bluster, if the problem remains, then u really screwed up with that file.
I can suggest you a better way of installing ISO games. You can use one of these. Alcohol 120% or Deamon tools. Both these tools create a virtual drive in your PC, & mount the ISO archive as read only file. So there is no chance to corrupt the file. You need not extract the archive & with these tools you cannot edit the files. So it's better to go for it. Tey ur archive with these.
And Sorry for your messed up file.
