Is there a program that completely recovers lost files and folders?

Q. I recently had to format my hard drive, losing all my data, but I heard that there are programs that can recover some of the data. I've tried several that work adequately but not really as well as I had hoped. I'm looking for a program that could possibly recover whole folders (like My Music) and all its contents. Does anyone know of such a program? Or at very least a program that recovers the file with the filenames.

A. I don't think which program can recover ALL lost data, but there're some reliable data recovery software I can recommend to you.

1) DT Utilities Digital Rescue http://www.dtransfer.com
No. 1 in Top10review.com, you should know it's a good program

2) Disk Doctor
This program has 2 versions: for PC and for Mac

3) Handy Recovery
Very easy to use, a good program for users don't have any recovery experiences.

4) Wondershare Data Recovery http://www.data-recovery-utilities.com/data-recovery.html?page=172
Easy-to-use and efficient! It is even faster than handy recovery and got a partition recovery function.

All above are the ones I have used. Good luck!

My sister is diagonosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and went through mastectomy, what is her survival rate?
Q. The cancer did not spread to the lymph nodes or any part of her body. She will go through chemotherapy and radiation. We're all optimistic she will live a very long life, but the only statistics I've seen is that 5 yr survival rate. Is there any data beyond that? Breast cancer survivor responses only please!

A. Doctors can never give you a definite estimate. Each case is different. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in the later stages and is now a 25 year survivor and counting. She had a radical mastectomy and chemotherapy, and has never had a recurrence.

I suggest your sister contact the local cancer society and find out about the Reach to Recovery program. It is a group of survivors that sort of mentor newly diagnosed patients through the whole process.

What are your thoughts about online storage?
Q. Nowadays, I'm beginning to think that hard drives are not reliable. I spend so much time doctoring my hard drives and one day it crashes and I lose all the information on it. I also can't find a good recovery program to retrieve my files. Therefore, I need to start over.

I think about storing on two hard drives but it seems redundant. Then, the thought of storing online comes to mind. I wouldn't mind spending some money on this kind of storage. The main issue seems to be PRIVACY. Could it be a way to crack down on piracy?

Anyone have any thoughts on this matter? Thanks in advance.

A. why to buy Space ??

When u have unlimited mail box space... u can use yahoo mail id and u can store unlimited data online ..attach yr important documents and mail them to yr yahoo mail id and store the documents for free online forever ...this is the best solution.
and also u can send a attachments upto 20 MB each.
