Computer Repair Software Support in Cleveland Ga North Georgia White County Georgia?

Q. (253) 444 7493 Software Support such as Password Recovery, Data Recovery and Software Installation and Software Reinstallation. Software ONLY! Low hourly rate or Per Application fee?

What is this type of businesses warranty on service? State laws applicable? Certification?

A. Sounds like they just work with software and no hardware. So if you broke your keyboard or dropped your PC and the harddrive got scratched or cracked etc, these people can't help.

Software support is a good thing to have available. It sound like they may charge a per installation fee. As in, I am not good at computer and I want office installed on my pc. I can take the pc and software to this person ( or ideally they come to my house if it's a desktop) and they install the program for me and ensure it is working, then i pay a fee (say 40 dollars).

Or lets say I have a nasty virus that has corrupted my harddrive and now my harddrive can't be used to boot my Operating system. Sounds like they can pull that data off, save it on another HD or discs, format the drive and re install the OS and all the programs you want.

You mentioned Password recovery, i'm not sure what they mean there, but let's assume it's legal. So let's say that I"ve lost my Windows XP password. Sounds like this person has some kind of software they have purchased that they can use to find or reset your password. This is COMPLETELY legal, but don't ask ANYONE to do something illegal for you (such as try to get someones yahoo password etc). A good service tech will tell you no if you ask for something illegal.

Any how... CALL THEM.... I doubt there are legal laws that say you have to have this (fill in blank) certification to do this computer work. Also, warranties vary, some people warranty 90 days for hardware and 30 for software. that allows time for the kinks to get worked out. BTW what are they charging per hour? One of hte other answers said 75 an hour is normal, but that is high. I would think that 50 an hour is more likely, especially if you are in a remote rural area like cleveland ga. no offense...

i accidently deleted a video from my digital camera. does anyone know how to recover a deleted video?
Q. its really important..please help. and make sure if its helps..its free. thanks.

A. Yes, the one of the best recover software available is the Photorescue. The software aren't expensive and it's a good investment.I believe that you have not taken any morepicture since you delete the card cause it most prob will erase the file completely.

read a pro's comment:

"We had at least a half dozen instances of people who had corrupted memory cards, or who needed to recover files from cards once they had been reformatted. Fortunately a couple of people had a program on their laptops called Photorescue, which in every instance was able to save the day.

Other data recovery programs, such as those now provided free by card makers such as Sandisk and Lexar just didn't cut it. Sometimes a few files could be recovered, but not always, and not all files. With PhotoRescue a complete recovery was possible almost every time. As soon as I got home I downloaded a copy â it's available for both Windows and Mac OSX. Don't leave home without it. A review on Imaging Resource tells you all about this fine and inexpensive program.

My own near disaster occurred after the first day ashore shooting in South Georgia with the Hasselblad and P45 back. My usual routine is to copy cards to a hard drive and then once safely copied, to start reviewing them. But since I have now changed my workflow to Lightroom, and like its ability to import from a card reader to two drives simultaneously (thus making a backup in real time), this is what I did, along with shots made with my Canon 1Ds MKII.

That evening in my cabin after dinner, once the files were all copied over, I started reviewing the thumbnails on screen. Everything looked fine, and so pouring another glass of wine I popped the CF cards into the P45 and reformatted them for use the next day.

I then saw one particular thumbnail that looked interesting and clicked on it to view at full size. Oh oh! Nothing happened. What I quickly discovered was that Lightroom had only imported the P45's built in thumbnails, not the entire file. (P45 files are not "officially" supported by Lightroom. Thomas Knoll had kindly put in preliminary support for P45 files for Bill Atkinson and me for our Lightroom shoot in Iceland in summer '06). Please note that this bug does not exists with any other type of camera files.

I tried two file recovery programs that I had on my Macbook, but nothing would recover the files. I then went to the ship's bar (our evening hang-out), and asked if anyone had any stronger medicine. A couple of people had Photorescue, and within the hour 97 of 102 files on the card had been rescued.

This story was to be repeated throughout the trip, with someone every day or two having either a corrupted or accidentally formatted card, and every time full or almost full recovery was possible. Forewarned is forearmed."
