Can a data recovery firm recover wiped data after a guttman?
Q. If i was to perform a DOD Wash or a GuttMan wash, is any of the data recoverable even if sent to a data recovery firm? Ive seen some software that claim to be able to get data back even after wiping the free space with DOD and NSA but is this actually true? What is the best way to get rid of data that you no longer need and don't want to fall into the wrong hands?
A. You myt have to physically disable the hard drive cos no matter ow u delete, tis a matter of time b4 sum pc genius extract the info on it...
