A. I would say the first one.

First off, the Dell XPS has a backlit keyboard (huge bonus).

Secondly, it has an NVIDIA Geforce GT555m graphics card (the same as in my alienware), and it runs games great. The radeon 6770 is weaker in comparison.

Although unless you are video editing or running emulators, the processor you have chosen is completely unnecessary. Try downsizing to the 2670 (2.2GHz), because that will save a lot of money. You won't see a huge difference in performance unless, you're editing stuff or playing CPU intensive games.

Will I lose my files?
Q. I moved a file with 388GB of an assortment of different files from my D drive to my F drive. It transferred at a reasonable rate. Now its "finished", says 0 seconds remaining, and the progress bar is red. When I click the window, it dings at me, and won't do anything. The cancel and "x" button don't react to my mouse.

The data is not on my D drive, nor is it on my F drive, and they are important files that I was going to be backing up as soon as I had moved them.

If I force the window to close through task manager, will I get my files back? If not, is there another way to retrieve my files? How can I prevent this from happening again?

My system:
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
4GB DDR2
Gigabyte GA-MA780FX-UD5P
AMD Phenom 9950 Black Edition
ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
Thermaltake Purepower 1000W
HP DVD+/-RW
Seagate ST3500320AS 500GB Hard Drive x2 (One of which is my D drive)
Seagate ST31500341AS 1.5TB Hard Drive x3 (One of which is my F drive)

A. U could use data recovery software to get the file.

Why are all these red states reporting job creation from the Stimulus ?
Q. http://www.recovery.gov/Pages/home.aspx

When less than a quarter of the stimulus has been recieved, they are already reporting job growth directly from stimulus dollars....

Texas reported 28,460 jobs...
FL...reported 34,966 jobs...
AL...13,888
GA... 24,103

All states reporting...
Recovery Funded Jobs Reported by Recipients
October 1 - December 31, 2009
599,108 Jobs

Are these conservative led states creating jobs with the money or not ?

....another thing that bothers me a bit....
Why doesn't www.GOP.GOV mention the stimulus or the numbers anywhere on their site ?

Try searching 'stimulus', on www.gop.gov
Guess how many results you will get ?
Nacho....

Did you even look at the link ?

Why would you ask such a question ?...omg...
The RECIPIENTS...REPORT...

If the "books are cooked"...then it's the state that is cooking them because they are responsible for the accounting and reporting in state finance committees.

A. Maybe the GOP reads the papers. From the Associated Press:

Stimulus jobs overstated by thousands

WASHINGTON (AP) â A Colorado company said it created 4,231 jobs with the help of President Barack Obamaâs economic recovery plan. The real number: fewer than 1,000.

A child care center in Florida said it saved 129 jobs with the help of stimulus money. Instead, it gave pay raises to its existing employees.

Elsewhere in the U.S., some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two, three, four or even more times.

The government has overstated by thousands the number of jobs it has created or saved with federal contracts under the presidentâs $787 billion recovery program, according to an Associated Press review of data released in the programâs first progress report.

The discrepancy raises questions about the reliability of a key benchmark the administration uses to gauge the success of the stimulus. The errors could be magnified Friday when a much larger round of reports is released. It is expected to show hundreds of thousands of jobs repairing public housing, building schools, repaving highways and keeping teachers on local payrolls.

The White House seized on an initial report from a government oversight board weeks ago that claimed federal contracts awarded to businesses under the recovery plan already had helped pay for more than 30,000 jobs. The administration said the number was evidence that the stimulus program had exceeded early expectations toward reaching the presidentâs promise of creating or saving 3.5 million jobs by the end of next year.

But the 30,000 figure is overstated by thousands â at the very least by nearly 5,000, or one in six, based on APâs limited review of some of the contracts â because some federal agencies and recipients of the money provided incorrect job counts. The review found some counts were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of jobs; some jobs were credited to stimulus spending when, in fact, none were produced."
